Whether cheering along with the fans at a soccer game, attending class parties or participating in one of the many events sponsored by Trinity Life, your child is certain to find his or her place in our community.

Quest Trinity Life sponsors the Quest Competition, a yearlong contest in which the classes vie for points by participating in Trinity Life activities. Classes challenge one another’s intellectual powers in a quiz bowl called Metaphysical Pursuit but go hand to hand in dodgeball and volleyball as well. They put their best recipes to the test in a Chili Cook-Off every fall where guests vote for the best dish with their dollars and all of the proceeds benefit a charity of the students’ choice. In the spring there is an annual Coffee House where students showcase their talents and entertain the whole community with acts that range from comedy routines to a cappella singing in four-part harmony. Every year the schedule of events changes according to the interests and input of the students.
Field DayTwo times a year, the whole school takes a break for an all-school field day. Fall and spring field days are held outdoors. All the students and some faculty are divided into teams led by upperclassmen that compete against one another in activities like kickball, basketball, soccer and volleyball.
Socials and Class PartiesThe Costume Party in the fall semester and the Winter Formal in January are two events hosted for all students in ninth through twelfth grade.
Juniors and seniors attend the prom in the spring. The evening includes a dinner and dance held as a cruise along the Potomac River with an after-party held off campus.
Students in seventh and eighth grade enjoy an organized party twice each year. These parties are mostly single-sex, focusing on building good relationships among the boys and good relationships among the girls in each class. As students grow older, the parties are a mix of single-sex activities and co-ed events.
Annual IJM 5K RunEach year the students organize a 5K run to raise money for the International Justice Mission. IJM is the largest international anti-slavery organization in the world. It fights the scourge of modern day slavery by focusing on human rights, law and law enforcement. Since 2012, Trinity students have helped raise over $110,000 to support their mission.
